I would say about half of the oropharyngeal cancers I see are HPV related. Smoking is becoming less common, and shall we say sexual behaviors have changed over the past twenty years, hence the rise in oropharyngeal and anal squamous cancers. The good news is that the oropharyngeal cancers that are HPV associated do better than the tobacco associated ones and can ge treated more conservatively. Even better, is that immunization against the major oncogenic HPV subtypes will benefit both men and women.

Haven't read all the comments, but what saddens me is that kids aren't taught touch typing.

Great podcast as always. It's so refreshing to see topics discussed in detail. News TV is hopeless, typically a vapid moderator adjudicates sound bytes between two floating heads representing right and left, topics are discussed for 30 seconds, and are thus content free. I play these multiple times, and pick up new ideas even after several listenings.
