Support nothing. zero. zip. nada. null set. empty flask.  This is a gratuitous fight picked to distract us from the total failure of his policies. Those on the left always need enemies because their policies do not work. Gun laws are not inadequate.   A culture that glorifies gratuitous violence and depersonalized killing is inadequate.

When I see policies that support intact families, encourage faith communities, and promote citizens actively defending themselves, then I will start supporting something.  Until then, support nothing that further restricts our freedom.

A distinction has to be made.  There is a huge difference between courtship and dating.  Courtship is goal oriented towards marriage.  Dating is recreation.  Hooking up is just a debased form of dating.

Looking at it from your (our?) perspective, it appears pretty dismal for a young lady.  However, let us also remember that a lot of the young women out there are not ladies, and they seem to like it as it is. And, truth be told, that is just what a lot of young men want.

I have spent my whole life watching liberals say sensible, conservative-sounding things and then vote the party line.  Invariably.  I get a little tired of hearing how admirable something they once said makes them.  To the dogs with them all.

Comparing bad to worse doesn't make it good.

Last Thursday I spent an evening in the company of a number of so-called "progressives." What struck me most was not that they were so tribal, even ecstatically so, in their approbation of our president and his recent win. It was the sheer, irrational cultishness of it. These people are beyond reason. I am glad they haven't discovered snake handling. For the sake of the snakes.
