I’m sorry I just don’t for a second buy that.  It would require a bit of editing and perhaps more formal formatting, but certainly possible.  And again, it would not be for free, it was not suggested it would be for free to members, it would be for sale just like the t-shirts or mugs I think you sell.  And with that sale would be resources to pay for its production.  Not saying that business model would work.  It could be I would be the only person that would buy it. 

Finally, I have to say for the record I love James!  He is brilliant in so many ways.  I really  appreciate from him what lately it seems he's most unwilling to provide in the podcast – his own genuine thoughts and opinions.  He's MC or host – and an excellent one at that – but I think he is also a great and interesting guest unlike so many professional hosts.

Let me say it again.  I signed up for Ricochet because of my good will for the podcast and wanted to sponsor it even if not required.

Not always an option to fast forward depending on how and where you listen.  And surely defeats the purpose.  My bigger question here is shall I just let my Ricochet membership lapse and listen for free since I’m not really interested in being an active commenter/member?  You can berate me all you wish for that (I won’t be doing that btw) but thinking from a business point of view isn’t that going backwards.  I just happen to think ricochet gave the car away for free and perhaps have trouble getting them to buy the warranty.  … [cont]

Wow, I didn't expect so much response.  I'd like to respond to a couple of points and note that I agree with a lot said by Franco.  I have been listening to the Adam Carolla podcast for a while since learning about him from the Dennis Prager podcasts and I have to say his pitches are short and sweet and I even used one of his sponsors recently. 

I also enjoy the podcasts from Coffee & Markets.  Their ad is the same recorded short and sweet ad everytime.  Rather than tune out I find I tune in.

Since when did giving a business feedback - and basically asking if one could purchase something additional at cost (I didn't ask they change anything, just could they offer a new paid for item) amount to a narcissistic temper tantrum.  Is that what you take away.  I don't expect the world to adapt to me.  But as a small time business owner for the last 4 years, and previously working in a job ...
