Bio

My real name is Michael J Fox, but I am not a short actor with health problems, so I use Foxman instead.  I sometimes have fun with this.  Other times it is a bother.  My birthday is 7/11/1958.  With that birthday I should either play craps or get into the convenience-store business.   I was born in a suburb of Chicago, but moved to a suburb of Cleveland when I was two, so Cleveland is my home town.

I am one of ten children (yes we’re Catholic).  There were five boys and five girls.  My parents liked balance, and, from all appearances, noise.

I received my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton in 1981.  I have lived in Canton, Ohio, Houston, Texas and now in the Detroit suburb of Northville.  I work as an engineer for a major auto manufacturer.

I lost my wife to leukemia near the end of 2007.  I have no children.

Descriptions of my fantasies are a violation of the CoC ( hint: They are more likely to be about people from Hollywood than DC).

RightinChicago: Northville has Walltucky beat as far as downtown cafes.  Walled Lake however, has lakes, lakes and more lakes. · 3 hours ago

Actually, I tend to hang at the Eagles, which as down-scale as you can get in Northville.

I heard Wipeout, by the Surfaris just yesterday.  Good tune.

Whenever somebody goes on about the “official” rules of a game or sport, I ask this question:

In football, a receiver catches the ball and his first foot land in-bounds the second out.  Is it a good reception?  Invariably I will be asked: College or professional?  My response is: “The OFFICIAL rules.”  The fact of the matter is the rules of a game are whatever the participants agree they are.

Biden keeping his mouth shut would be a severe hardship on political pundits and cartoonists.  What's the old Will Rogers quote about just reporting the news?

Why would you condemn 10,000 good Republicans to being IRS trolls?
