I am utterly shocked after reading your Op Ed.  Not only can a statement that vaguely touches on sexuality be considered offensive, but now the University has to take action on so-called offenses that occur off-campus too?  That is so over-reaching I don't know where to start.

I like the way Issa completely ignored Holder's insults and just kept firing off questions and comments in a dispassionate tone.  Nothing makes liberals go ballistic faster than a factual discussion.  They love to get emotional and loud as a way to sidetrack a discussion because the facts don't help them.

BrentB67: It is just entertainment. Obama is the progressive savior and in the end he and his successor Hillary Clinton will be preserved at all costs. · 29 minutes ago

If push comes to shove and someone has to take the fall for some or all of these scandals, does Obama fall on his sword to save Hillary's 2016 presidential campaign or is his ego too large for him to make that kind of sacrifice?

In my mind, Benghazi is at the top of the list because 4 people died as a result of the Obama administration's incompetence and/or malfeasance.  In terms of political impact however, I think the surveillance on AP reporters could be the most damaging to Obama.  The AP has been complicit in helping the WH cover up or spin story after story in the past few years.  They must feel absolutely betrayed by the WH in light of what they have just learned.  I cannot help but think that the AP may decide to repay the WH with some unflattering news coverage for a change.

Excellent summary.  I was unable to watch the testimony so I appreciate this write-up.  The attempts to spin this by the Democrats and the media are so despicable I think it is a new low for them.  It does illustrate however that the Dems are more cohesive than the Republicans.  They will cover for each other even in the face of extremely damaging testimony while Republicans will publically criticize each other over Immigration and Rand Paul's filibuster.  In the end I think the Democrats damage their credibility with anyone who is paying attention, but most Democrat voters probably will never know any of this is happening because it is not on TMZ.

And once again I believe Fox News was the only TV outlet that aired these comments.  The cover-up continues.

Bob Laing: 12/13.  I screwed up the question about the most common gas in the atmosphere.  Looking at the other scores posted here, I'm concerned I qualify as a low information voter now. · 2 hours ago

Same here.  I got the same question wrong although I was tempted to answer Nitrogen and then talked myself out of it.  The rest were easy.

As long as the Catholic Church does nothing about Catholic Progressive Dems, Ryan has nothing to worry about when it comes to church membership:

"The governor of New York is a practicing Roman Catholic who was raised in a family steeped in traditional Church teachings. ...

These confirmed Catholics, attached to the church by birth and educated in parochial schools, are also progressive democrats. Andrew Cuomo made same-sex marriage the law of New York; and Joseph Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Jerry Brown support abortion rights and embryonic stem-cell research -- stances sharply at odds with church teachings."

“For those who hope for salvation, no political loyalty can ever take precedence over loyalty to the Lord Jesus Christ and to his Gospel of Life. God is not mocked, and as the Bible clearly teaches, after this passing instant of life on earth, God’s great mercy in time will give way to God’s perfect judgment in eternity.”

Most Reverend Daniel R. Jenky, C.S.C., BISHOP OF PEORIA

And from the Old Testament - Jeremiah 23:1 “Woe to the shepherds who mislead and scatter the flock of my pasture, says the Lord.”

I just became an RG III fan.  Does anyone care to guess how long it will be before the liberal MSM has him in its cross-hairs and begins to attack him?

I had a long conversation with one of my brothers about this earlier today and then read your column.  It is as if you were listening to my earlier conversation and transcribed it.  I completely agree with you on all points, including your point about the never-ending tributes to Jackie Robinson.  Thank you for expressing what people like me feel when we are forced to watch all of this "celebration" on ESPN.  Mollie may be right in saying that the MSM will try their best to raise Jason Collins up any chance they get, but it will not work.  There are other no-name athletes who are known to be gay such as Kordelle Stewart and no one talks about him.

I thank God for talk radio.  Along with Fox News it is the only alternative to liberal media brain-washing and propaganda.  Luntz is obviously a McCain-type Republican and less Conservative than many in the Republican party.

I am married to a woman who has the same religious affiliation I do and is center-right politically.  I agree with those who link religion and politics because I am a social conservative based on my religious views.    I am a bit more to the right politically than my wife but we can usually agree at the end of political discussions because we are both somewhere on the right.  I cannot imagine being married to someone who is a leftist / socialist / communist / whatever.  In fact, over the years I have distanced myself from one of my cousins because our discussions about politics never ended well.  I simply cannot respect someone who has been duped by liberal propaganda and subscribes to that warped ideology.  If I cannot respect someone why would I marry her?  Mutual respect is key to any good marriage.

The kids are taking their free school lunch and throwing it in the trash ever since they implemented Michelle Obama's new menu.  So they are fat according to Michelle, but they are also hungry because they are not eating the "health food" being served.

I don't see why Social Conservatives and Libertarians disagree about Same-Sex Marriage.  I think that in a sense the positions are similar.  Libertarians say the Government should not define marriage.  As a Social Conservative I agree.  The definition of a monogamous marriage comes from the Bible and pre-dates modern governments.  Marriage was not defined by our Government in the first place, so how can they redefine it?  There are good arguments to make about how the traditional marriage between one man and one woman is beneficial to our society but I don't think those are even necessary given my earlier point.  Foreign policy differences are another subject.  All I would say to my Libertarian friends is that sometimes military intervention overseas is needed to prevent significant damage to our country at some point in the future.  The difficulty is deciding when there is a real threat to our interests versus humanitarian missions.  My experience is that the U.S. never gains much from the humanitarian missions and in fact we are blamed for sticking our noses in other people's business rather than receiving any gratitude.

Spin: I'll pile one.  We are always complaining that our side and our views don't get enough play.  And now Perino is complaining about too much play?  Frankly I wish Ben Carson were as everywhere and all-the-time as Perino claims.   · 19 hours ago

You took the words right out of my mouth (or keyboard).  Ben Carson communicates in a way that "low-information voters" can understand and relate to.  Conservatives need his voice now more than ever.
