Fricosis Guy: While I had been an active Boy Scout, I had barely started Cub Scouting in one post before we moved (then I aged out). Didn't appreciate it, really.

What's neat has been to watch my son move from a boy who liked to hang close to dad to a boy who hangs with his buds as they explore the woods (and have to be called back or rounded up back into camp).

Independence and male bonding don't get encouraged enough these days.
