Investigated schools for civil rights compliance and negotiated school desegregation and other civil rights plans affecting all individuals; e.g., Blacks, Hispanics, women, and persons with disabilities. In Washington, D.C. - - Dir. of Policy Division for all civil rights issues - - elementary and secondary through higher education (1983 to 1989); Dir. of Regional Programs/Quality Mgt./Training (1989 to 1995). In 1995-1996, Dir. of Kansas City Regional Office. Now retired and living on the northern California coast.
