Franklin Graham can forget about ever getting an invitation to go golfing with Barry now.

KC Mulville: I have six words of advice:

Committee hearings, committee hearings, committee hearings · 0 minutes ago

KC, committee hearings are indeed necessary, but if the Stupid Party lets the Corrupt Party redirect the hearings away from the subject into other things, the committee hearings will be a waste of time.  In both the House and Senate, the former prosecutors and judges like Cruz, Lee and Sessions have to take charge while the grandstanders and RINOs need to shutup and move to the backbench.  In the Senate, they are limited because they are the minority party, at least for another 8 months.  The House also has some good former prosecutors like Trey Gowdy, and they need to use the full investigative powers of their office.

Mollie, the EPA hotlink is taking me to a story on the GetReligion website titled "Should pro-choice activists be asked Gosnell questions?"

My kids would say it's an age thing, but I don't use Twitter or send text messages, and I'm not a fan of either one.   We use to say that people should engage their brains before putting their mouths in gear, but far too often it seems the same thing should apply to Twitter or text messages.  Far too many of these messages are sent with no thought or common sense.

I rarely agree with BHO on anything, but he's right on his comments on this issue.  Israel must be able to defend itself to ensure its survival.

Ever wonder what would have happened if the boy had shouted, "Allahu Akbar," at the end of the race?

Matthew Gilley: Wow, for an event like this, make sure you wear your best, most crisply ironed shirt. Oh, wait.... · 3 hours ago

Dave should probably get a new shirt for this event, one which still has all the starch in it.

If we annex Mexico, why stop there?  We can pickup the small Central American states too while we're at it and get the Panama Canal which we built and paid for.  Then we would have hegemony over the entire Gulf and all the oil/gas underneath it.  We just have a few trillion dollars of investment that we need to make in infrastructure, many years of assimilation, making indigenous peoples learn English as their first language, etc.  NO problemo!

Are you, or your company, going to auction off the right to ride along in the passenger's seat, with the proceeds going to the veteran's organization of your choice?  I might bid on that!

I have a flight scheduled for Saturday, and it wasn't to Alabama, but it would be fun to make a detour.

Nope, no interest here either.  I get enough of the liberal viewpoint in my daily newspaper and the TV news.

While Milton Friedman is certainly deserving, judging from past awards, the Bradley Foundation doesn't make posthumous awards.

If Ted Cruz continues on his current path, someday he should win a Bradley award, but not yet.  He needs some more time to earn it.

If I were unmarried, I couldn't/wouldn't date or marry a Communist.  The ideological divide is too wide.

Skyler, you ruined my day.  This is so stupid and full of multiculturalist hogwash, I won't comment further.  I'm angry.

Are we sure this isn't "Troy" or "John" somebody, who may need to write under a pseudonym for awhile?

Nonetheless, welcome "Louis"!

Obama always thinks HIS plan is the PERFECT plan and therefore the public, who is not as bright as he is, should just meekly submit and quietly go along with it.  But it was quite wonderful to see him get slapped with reality yesterday, even though we had to put up with more emotional demogoguery while he attempted to used Giffords and Newtown parents as his visual props.  I feel bad for them, but wish they could see past their trajedies to think through the issues more logically.

Mark, you need to give in on this issue, if for no other reason because she did your income taxes.   Anyway, she's right.   Save as much face as you can by giving in now, rather than digging in your heels.

Even if the cost is minimal, one who pays for something, like an EMT class, will appreciate it more, will pay better attention, and will attend the class more regularly.   Just like an armed citizenry, I'm all for a trained EMT citizenry as well.  But we don't ask the government (at any level) to buy us our weapons, and we don't ask the government (at any level) to provide us free EMT classes.
