Unless they have something to gain professionally or monetarily from saying so I doubt any Iranian would claim that US Govt intervention would be welcomed by most Iranians.
They don't know us well enough to like us or not like us. They are taught to dislike America (along with American and most western universities). Especially in the middle east, the dictators blame America for all their woes to divert the attention away from their looting of the treasuries.
Look what good government in Israel has done with a desert. What have other despots done but bring misery to their people?
It's important to point out that we don't like these guys but there are not clearly better alternatives.
Regarding Iran, you can look up polls (if you have any real interest) that have been done there and they show only Israel as being more pro-American in the middle east.
