There are cases percolating through the courts now.   Will the Supreme Court reverse itself re. Roe?

I will avoid GM in solidarity with my father.  Obama stole the value that was represented by his GM bonds and gave the portion of the company that was represented by that value over to the unions as part of the bailout.

I think nearly everything by Antonio Carlos Jobim qualifies as beach music.  (I think he belongs in the list of top five composers of the previous century.)

1. Twitter is a terrible medium.

Could somebody explain what benefit there is to using facebook to access Ricochet?   Does it refresh faster?  Have actual working editing tools?

By pulling out of Afganistan prematurely, we expose those Afgans who cooperated with Americans to retribution by the Taliban.   We will be teaching the world, once again, that Americans cannot be trusted because they have an extremely low tolerance for casualties and an ever lower attention span.   When the world sees that those who aided the Americans are left to the reprisals of the Taliban, it will be awfully difficult to gain new intelligence anywhere.

It's a Muslim thing.

Go to the wedding.   Be nice.   Don't say anything about issues you have with them or that church.   If someone questions you on it, just allow as how you are happy they are getting married.

Good will result.   There is bound to be an aunt or cousin that you will be truly happy to see and visit with.   Future harmony within the family will be improved.   Other good things might result also.
