I dont understand the love for Silver's model either. There is nothing genius to it. His model relies on state polls. If the polls are wrong, his model is wrong. Garbage in, garbage out.
Well it was a win for Obama in the sense that he didnt have another poor night. But it was a win for Romney in the sense that Obama didnt get the better of him. Seemed like they both had their moments.
I think both sides will think their side won. Dems needed a kick in the pants and Biden's attitude provided that. Repubs will love that Biden came across looking like a condescending boorish jerk and that Ryan was probably a bit more presidential.
Biden did a lot better than I thought he would. Although Im not sure all the smirking and smiling will help him. Seemed too overdone and forced. Hopefully rubs people the wrong way.
Do American Jews really care about Israel? I was reading somewhere recently that the GOP hasnt received more than 25% of the Jewish vote since the 80s even though they've been staunch supporters of the Israeli state. And even if they do care, do they believe the GOP actually cares about the Jewish people or is Israel just being used by the GOP to assert its influence in the Middle East?
At the end of Biden's speech, he should announce he is leaving the Obama white house and then in strolls his replacement in order to help provide a spark and save their failing re-election.

A happily married woman with 2 kids? Kind of telling that the Liberals consider that unattractive.
