Married, 2 adult children, living in Wantage NJ, with as much time as I can in our other house in Conway, NH. A system engineer by trade, currently seeking employment. Currently attending Stevens Institute of Technology, pursuing a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering, (9 of 10 courses complete, 3.93 GPA)
I was born in SF, CA spent time in USAF (7 years), BS, Magna Cum Laude, U of Utah, 1979, Electrical Engineering. Worked for Ampex from 1979 to 1993, and DRS from 1993 to 2011 (Sep).
Developed recording equipment and systems, mostly for military aircraft. Recently expert in deployable flight recorders, and interconnected safety systems on aircraft.
Political Conservative, with strong desire for smaller less intrusive Federal Government. Joined Ricochet because I sometimes feel critical points are missed in discussions I have long lurked about, and am sure I can make positive contribution.

Re: Is Christie a Bridge Too Far?
I live in NJ. Christie is a good govenor for NJ, best we've had in a long while, BUT he is not a conservative in any meaningful sense and is anti-gun. If he were to be the Republican nominee for President, I would vote for him over any Democrat, but he would not be my choice in any primary race, and I hope someone more conservative becomes the Republican nominee
