Very well said, David!  It's beyond time for McCain and his RINO Senate buddies to pass on the torch to a new generation.  We'd all do far worse than have a member of that new generation be Sen Rand Paul.....

Brilliant, Dave......  Thanks for the summary of my jumbled feelings this evening.  Weel written and incisive.  I'm inclined to think of the phrase "we all get the gov't we deserve", and this has never been more true than now!  

Great anecdote, Rob.  I needed that this morning, as I am very despondent over the election results.  

People are (thankfully) finally catching on to the sham that is Barack Obama.  Far from being an inspirational, transformative leader and impassioned orator, the President has turned out to be a scolding, pedantic narcissist, who takes credit where none is due and blames everyone but himself when things go wrong.  Separate and apart from his misguided Marxist policies, Obama is simply a disagreeable individual, who does not have the integrity and character to match the office that he now holds. 

I never knew this was the reason for the fee, but it obviously works well.  I have to listen to brain dead liberal commentary all day long from certain friends of mine and most of the mainstream media (Fox excepted), so a "safe haven" is a must!

People insist on continuing to called the President "likeable".  I find him the least likeable President since Carter--arrogant, narcissistic, pedantic, self-absorbed, and shamelessly mendacious.  I'd much rather have a beer with George Bush than Obama any day.

I'm a guy, so I guess I'm part of the 6% !     

First post on this site for me....  I enjoy the podcast immensely, and just joined Ricochet about 5 min ago.  Can't wait to check out the extra stuff, and maybe post once in a while!
