My parents are from Argentina and so I understand from a first person perspective that a dismantlement has occurred in that society despite the amount of wealth and potential its people have. There is no rule of law in Argentina thanks to Peronism. I see America gradually losing its exceptionalism thanks to similar characteristics which can be found in the views of the latest generation of Americans, primarily having to do with individual attitudes and a culture that spontaneously creates rights out of thin air. Is America the next Argentina?
