How I listen is determined by where I am and what I am doing.....in car, moving around doing house or yard work, etc.  It isn't easy to always be near WiFi to stream a podcast so I listen live when I can and use podcasts when I miss something.   I substitute Ricochet podcasts for talk radio and love to listen to them on my IPad when I am doing other things on it.  I love Three Martini Lunch, especially right before I go to bed.  I love Levin's free podcasts .... Levin isn't a jerk .... he just knows how to react to jerks ... but his style isn't for everyone .... but suits me.

mnlaw student: 11/13, but I've never taken chemistry (not even in high school) and I drank my way through my poli sci degree. As I've long thought, I am not the smartest person here.  · 44 minutes ago

what did you miss?

Bob Laing: 12/13.  I screwed up the question about the most common gas in the atmosphere.  Looking at the other scores posted here, I'm concerned I qualify as a low information voter now. · 2 hours ago

Same here.  I got the same question wrong although I was tempted to answer Nitrogen and then talked myself out of it.  The rest were easy. · in 1 minute

That is an easy one to be tricked on because of all the fuss over CO2.  Remember, one of the reasons their global warming argument is silly is that CO2 forms such a small portion of the atmospheric gases .... and man-made CO2 is insignificant compared to nature's.  Think of how flammable the atmosphere would be if it had high concentrations of pure oxygen or hydrogen.  These two elements combine to form H2O.  That was definitely the hardest question of the bunch.

[You answered 13 of 13 questions correctly....You scored better than 93% of the public and the same as 7%.]

1.  Take that, you libtards who call me an idiot because I don't believe in global warming.

2.  Hmmm 93% percentile for perfect score?  Must be all those Ricochet members who are taking the test.  ;)

Government isn't telling you how many bullets you can fire since the number of magazines is not limited.  Rather, it is dictating you defend yourself in a more inefficient manner....just the sort of law a moron would push.

Elizabeth Herring

I am with you .... current players do not do the game of football credit.  Ever see a baseball player dance and gyrate after scoring a run?  Besides, only in baseball will you see a 5-2-6 DP or a 1-2-3 DP or  7-2 DP .... ah, my scorebook has seen it all.  Ever see a scorebook for football?  Ever see a fan score a football game?  Need I say more?

Glad I am retired.  I could not continue to serve in a godless military to defend a godless country.

Miranda is a fairly new thing in the history of our country and a fabrication of the legal system.  Like many things the government does, the outcome is not always as good as the intentions.

Priceless.....best I have seen

I love the picture!!

If we are going to have a president call the North Korean Ding Dong's bluff, let it be Obama.  He might just develop an appreciation for diplomacy's best back up .... the US military and its missile defense.

Two points:

a.  is this Constitutional

b.  what are the chances a tyrannical government will use info gathered legally to do unconstitutional things (confiscate guns)-that is the direction the government is headed and why so many hate this bill

We have for years accepted limits placed on us by benign local, state, and federal governments (rules on where you can carry guns).  We have accepted background checks under certain circumstances.  This isn't the problem.

The government has become corrupt, seeking incrementally to take away our rights.  That is the problem.  It will continue until it is  threatened by the people (and I don't mean physically).  States and citizens need to serve notice that they will refuse to follow any law that demands confiscation.  Just as our freedoms were gained by people willing to fight for them, they need to be retained in the same manner.  I doubt if the liberals want this bad enough to fight for it.  Like the armed citizens who deter crimes without firing a shot....so will they deter tyranny.  If tyranny can't be deterred then that is another problem altogether.

I will have to share with friends on Facebook....that is a good one

Would current members of Congress be offended if we called the team the Washington Redcommies?
