I find reducing everything to materialism distasteful as well. Resurrection through Christ is one of those things I can accept in the broadest metaphor. But metaphorical belief means that I don't have literal belief, so I still fall short of having faith. · 1 hour ago
If you don't mind my asking: a metaphor for what? If the resurrection is a metaphor, what truth does it signify, what does it stand for? What does it mean?
