Bio

I am the eldest of seven children, a daughter/sister/aunt/great-aunt/niece; committed prayer-partner, retiree who's worked as a certified hospital chaplain.  I am Roman/Latin Catholic. I'm a Republican by registration; a 'theocon/values voter' by self-definition. The so-called "life issues" are of foundational importance to me. I read voraciously, cross-stitch periodically. I listen to everything - especially the flagship Podcast among others and the "Song of the Day" here.   One of my joys is weekly participation in the Member Audio Meetup. Check it out - and Join Us!

Thanks, Ryan!  Thoughtful, as usual (and Itzhak Perlman is one of my mentors - for his grace in dealing with 'physical challenges'...Beautiful!)

The General Intercessions of the Good Friday Commemoration include the following: "We pray for those who do not believe in God...Despite whatever obstacles may stand in their way, may they come to knowledge of the truth by sincerely following all that is right."  This refers to the natural law written on the human heart, and seems to be that to which Pope Francis alludes.

Thanks, Duane...Way cool and classy!  Hoo-Rah!

Woo- Hoo!  Kudos, O Meetup Meister... (You weren't listening to Milt Rosenberg instead of being with us this past Sunday, were you?)  Missed ya, CJ...

Congratulations and felicitations!  [Late 2011 for me]  I'll be having a personal podcast marathon...

Ohhh, I hate making decisions! In the face of such sardonic wit on the one hand, and such understated geniality on the other, I am flummoxed with respect to the inherent veracity of these accounts...(We miss you, Dash!)

Thank you, Ed...Examples might move the discussion forward just a tad (if you want to continue it, that is...).  Not required, your point stands as it is.  Thanks again! [Self-edit.]
