It is hard to imagine a more egocentric comment than “My husband and I share a sense of deep unease about the state of the world, and we just don't think it's responsible to bring children into it.” Upon reflection , though, one might suggest that society is far better off with the utterer of such pablum remaining childless.
Speed itself is a danger because it cuts down on the time you have to react to an unanticipated situation. For example, a large animal popping out in front of you on a lonely, isolated stretch of a rural highway. But, what is more dangerous is a mix of different speeds on the same road. Grandpa doing 45 in a 70, and young wild Wally doing 90 .
Thankfully, somebody picked up from John Poindexter in his effort to connect the dots to find terrorists after he was forced out by the lily-livered libs some years back: http://dataprivacylab.org/news/cbs2.html
One unusual case is from about 20 years ago. A guy whom I'll call Mr. Tate was married to another person in our same company. Her name, for these purposes, was Mary Crawford. Mary kept her maiden name, but the children of their marriage were Billy Crawford-Tate, David Crawford-Tate, and Becky Crawford-Tate.
Saying that "hovering" at 20-23% means "on average, an 80% negative vote" is both intellectually dishonest and statistically bunk. What if Romney is the second choice of the 77-80% (or even 40-50%) for which he is not their number one choice? Does that mean 80% negative? Of course not. By your measure, Paul is about 92% negative, Bachman about 97% negative, Santorum about 98% negative, and Huntsman about 99% negative.
What gets me is the "live blogging" of these non-events. Unless you get a thrill in being the first to report someone's blunder, what's the purpose? The pasts and records are the resumes; the "debates" are just job interviews.
