Bio
Raised as a Navy brat I primarily grew up in Newbury, MA which is a coastal fishing village. I've worked as a carny and a polymer chemist for the Navy but as my handle indicates I am an M.D., (LSU alumni). I worked as an internal medicine doctor but now do private medicine. I have a wonderful wife and 5 kids, ages 5-23. I enjoy mtn biking, skiing, shooting, fly fishing and basically all outdoor activities. I love sports but especially delight in football and hockey for viewing while also living vicariously through my kids. We are Christians but are accepting of all viewpoints on life that aren't mean. The whole idea of an internet life is new to me and I wear my heart on my sleeve when I'm not making stupid jokes. I believe that our country is fiscally doomed if we do not defeat Obama and his progressive ideology.

Re: Amazing Grace
Cornelius Julius Sebastian" Some folk seemed to have legitimate spiritual ecstasies, but many seemed to be compensating for some painful psychological issue. " I have only my testimony to offer. Raised as an agnostic I developed a belief in God in my 20's, becoming a Christian in my early 30's. At the height of despair regarding whether my kids would be killed by a drug addict I asked God to do something for me for the first and so far only time. A comfort came over me like a drug and I attribute this to the Holy Spirit. A painful psychological time indeed and one that made me a better person, for I've never felt alone since.
