Bio

Raised as a Navy brat I primarily grew up in Newbury, MA which is a coastal fishing village.  I've worked as a carny and a polymer chemist for the Navy but as my handle indicates I am an M.D., (LSU alumni).  I worked as an internal medicine doctor but now do private medicine.  I have a wonderful wife and 5 kids, ages 5-23.   I enjoy mtn biking, skiing, shooting, fly fishing and basically all outdoor activities.   I love sports but especially delight in football and hockey for viewing while also living vicariously through my kids.   We are Christians but are accepting of all viewpoints on life that aren't mean.  The whole idea of an internet life is new to me and I wear my heart on my sleeve when I'm not making stupid jokes.  I believe that our country is fiscally doomed if we do not defeat Obama and his progressive ideology.

Improved by increasing the degeneracy. Larry "human paraquat" Koler strikes again. You think you're better than me because you have both your testicles?

DocJay

10 cents, it's easy to see that this one GI saw the Japanese children as human as the Phillipino kids. The very change from evil enemy who must be eradicated to human beings in crisis can be seen here. God Bless our leaders for their foresight in aiding a totally defeated Japan.

Phil lived to a ripe old age and had a happy life. Not perfect but he had a great wife, good friends, and adventure. A pretty decent recipe.

DocJay

Thanks for all the compliments. I honestly don't feel worthy of the photos so I feel better sharing them. Ill release another batch in November.

Muslims are at war with everyone they rub elbows with.  It's absolute folly to ignore the problem here,  increase it's radical elements elsewhere and expect positive results for anything but radical Islam.

notmarx: I wonder sometimes what delusions he cherishes about the conflict with Islam.        · 3 minutes ago

What do you think? Do you think he is delusional or do you think he knows exactly what is going on and it's propaganda?  · 2 hours ago

Obama is delusional.  This is the same man who counted himself among the greatest American presidents.  His lack of self-awareness is only exceeded by his abundance of self-regard.  He believes that his personality is enough to change the millennia old attitudes of the Islamic world.  The man is a walking bundle of pathologies!  Egad!         · 1 hour ago

Malignant narcissism.  Obama deserves, and I mean really deserves, a horrible disgraced future.

DocJay

We dominated the game and let in screwy goals.  Home cooked penalties too.  Close out tomorrow.

Fricosis Guy: BTW, it looks like I'll buy a new car today. Ford Escape. Nice drive, solid sales guy. Had the car overnight. Now to quibble about trim and price.

As much as it pains me to support the Obama economy, at least it isn't a bailoutmobile. · 57 minutes ago

I hate that negotiation part.  I'm lousy at it.

Fricosis Guy: Best thing about assless chaps? Nothing gets between me and my Toto. · 3 hours ago

DocJay: 10 cents, now my secret of getting women comes out...so to speak. You know how the ladies like a gay or two in their lives. I'm outed on Rico, oh well, time to grab my assless chaps and strut with pride! · 8 hours ago

I'm all about expedience.

Benghazi.  This is the worst of the scandals.    Please keep the suit  unless John Yoo wears it.  He is just dreamy.

Bereket Kelile: I think the point he's making is that the idea of a terrible midterm in the second term is a prediction without any merit. He uses the data to show that you can't confidently predict 2014 will be bad for Obama simply because it's his sixth year.  · 0 minutes ago

Right you are.  But they may be very very bad for him because of him.

DocJay

It makes me sick too.  I strongly suspect the State Dept, Stevens, was running covert ops to transfer Stinger missiles from the group who killed him to Turkey to then covertly give to Syrian rebels.  There is far more than meets the eye here.

Ryan M: Amazing, Doc!  I love it.  Someone should pop this over to the main page.  This is the sort of reminder that everyone should see ... would that I were a high school teacher of some sort.  Oh, well, I guess they'll get to hear all about "diversity" instead. · 0 minutes ago

We all have our own versions of "diversity".  Sooner or later these greatest generation heroes will be marginalized by the liberal history books in to being "nothing special".

Of the hundred or so I have, there were 10 or so of kids. He took time to be with them. I think he considered all of the war effort in the context of the future. The most inhumane acts gave humanity a chance. Whatever his intent I wanted his lens to tell a story here so I put them in. I also have a few naked island women and one posing under a waterfall in the jungle. I'm not sure what that story is.

DocJay

Yep. There's one of him with a S&W 9mm and another with two middle fingers up. What a punk.

Susan, my old fishing buddy Bert died last year. He was there when Pearl Harbor was attacked. He was also at Tarawa and Saipan. He survived a Banzai charge on Saipan and beat an enemy to death with an entrenching tool. His best friend's brains wound up all over him at Tarawa. Toughness is the best description of that man. He was really kooky in his last few years but I gave him all the extra slack in the world.
