Thanks for you comment, interest and questions.
The email was from a friend, who had received it from one of his friends, etc. ad infinitum. The email attributes the quote to a Junius P. Long, and included a picture of Mr. Long. Google research on a fragment of the 1st bullet point yielded 210k results. A search for 'Junius P. Long' yielded 46.4k results. Fortunately I located the same photo of Mr. Long when I checked the images tab on the second search's page. Found the same pic at the top of the first image results page. By following the location of that image I came to this link - http://blnnews.com/2013/03/25/food-for-thought/. Felt, for me at least, this could well be the origin of the e-mai's text I quoted in my post.
My post now reflects Mr. Long's authorship. Please attribute me as a simple disseminator his his words.
