Why are you being so disrespectful of sheep and Jack-Asses?

Stu In Tokyo

Hey I sell booze for a living and I completely agree that so much of this stuff is bull feathers.  When customers come to my shop and wants a bottle of wine I will as some basic questions;

Red or white?

With or without food?

Country of origin?

Light or heavy?

How much do you want to spend?

With those basic questions and a knowledge of my stock I can almost always find something that pleases.

The other comment I get very often from customers is that they don't know that much about wine, I tell them not to worry, that's my job, as long as they know if they like it or not when they drink it, they are fine.

So much of the bull feathers about wine comes from everyone wanting to out do the other guy, and it is such BS.

Oh the stories I could tell....

Serious laugh out loud stuff right there, thanks!

I really enjoy this impressive young lady's voice, and her interpretation of various songs that she covers. Her original songs are also very nice, what a voice! I hope that she has a long and successful run!

13/13 wow, that was easy.

Question #12:

What gas do most scientists believe causes temperatures in the atmosphere to rise?

... and here I thought scientists proved theories, I did not think they "Believed".

Really.....

jonsouth: The whole point of this gun is you only need to fire it once -- to shoot the guy whose gun you need instead. It's not supposed to be a general purpose weapon; more like a last-resort emergency device. · 1 hour ago

Kind of like the FP-45 Liberator from 1942?

Mollie Hemingway, Ed.: ........

Was my headline misleading? The state that funded them was Massachusetts. · · 1 hour ago

The only question to ask is "Mollie, why do you hate women so much?"

Yes I think the CPT showed restraint, I think that was commendable..... after Wu attacked him physically.

I also think the CPT messed up, he dropped the ball. Unfortunately he mouthed off and pointed his finger in at Wu, which set Wu off. He should have just walked away. There is no way to win in this situation for the CPT.

The way things are these days if the CPT had dropped his shopping bag, after avoiding the first punch, and laid Wu out on the floor, or even if he had subdue  him without hitting him (easier said than done) then the Video would not be titled "Assaulted for being a soldier" it would have been titled "Minority Abused by Military" and the CPT's career would have been over.

You know what, that sucks, and it sucks hard, but that is what it is.

The other thing is the CPT was there, and I'm going to respect his judgment call on his actions, maybe it was very obvious this Wu fellow was off his meds, maybe he has seen this Wu fellow around before and this is typical behaviour, but I'll trust the CPT's reaction.

I don't think that we ever get the full story, but once you realize that, you can sift through the info that is offers and learn more.

AUMom: Hey, hey, I am actually in the market for a pressure cooker to can stuff this summer. Don't drive the prices up now that I am ready to pull the trigger.  · 2 hours ago

Nice turn of phrase in the last line, made me laugh..... :)

Stu In Tokyo

Oh my, I just had a thought, what if a cheap burner cell phone was used to trigger the pressure cookers..... wow that would be a really big ban.....

Stu In Tokyo

I figured we'd tackle the scary looking pressure cookers first, then move on to the nail and ball bearing front. I do worry that the nail lobby is very strong in DC. Let's not even try to tackle the black bag ban, the black bag lobby plays really dirty.

Oh boy I see I'm following right after a Fred Cole pot stir post..... sigh... :)
