The Making of Modern Economics by Mark Skousen. Nice overview of all the significant movers and shakers. Includes their theses, bios and social and personal influences. Also reading The Joy of Hate by Greg Gutfeld.
I've described BHO as an empty suit since his 2004 keynote speech. Eastwood should have been speaking to this (infra).
There is no there there - Gertrude Stein
After growing up with big dogs my whole life, I adopted a Coton de Tulear last year from the pound (royal dog of Madagascar). I love this breed. No shedding, loves to walk forever, extremely healthy breed, smart, sweet temperament, bred to like people more than dogs.
Also, love the pure contemporary marital dynamics of Portia to Brutus. Could be Anytown, USA:
Within the bond of marriage, tell me, Brutus,
Is it expected, I should know no secrets
That appertain to you? Am I yourself
But as it were, in sort of limitation,
To keep with you at meals, comfort your bed,
And talk to you, sometimes? Dwell I but in the suburbs
Of your good pleasure? If it be no more,
Portia is Brutus' harlot, not his wife.
He jests at scars that never felt a wound.
Happy Birthday, man from Stratford!
