When this show was on the air everyone I knew told me I had to watch this show.  They all said they thought of me when they watched it.  It was exactly my sense of humor.  So I watched a whole season of it.

I never laughed once.

It's like that one time when I um... when I...

um... which thread was this again?

I would say I have a fact-trap mind (assuming the fact is important to me).  But I too have trouble coherently assembling and relating them to others.  They come to me fast and jumbled and I find myself pausing my story to edit or enhance a point already made.  Or even to correct myself if I've caught myself in error (oh wait... not 79%... 74%... anyway...)

I generally compensate by trying to encapsulate the essence of my thought into a one-liner.

The fact-trap also causes me to think slowly.  If I have time to think (like on a school test) I do quite well.  But if I have to respond quickly (like Jeopardy) I'll almost never be able to recall.

I can't wait to play pin the devil tail on Obama.

Actually, I'm feeling confident about 2024 too. The economic boom will propel the veep to victory. 2026-2034 will be a dark period though.

Calm down everyone. Rubio will win in 2016. The scandals will matter for Hillary for obvious reasons but Rubio would have beaten her anyway. 8 years of empty chair, an economy gone nowhere, and crackpots everywhere taking advantage of American weakness will result in a red carpet welcome for Republicans. This always happens. The fun parent tells us we can have cookies for breakfast every day. Then when we feel sufficiently sick we look to the responsible parent to cook us some spinach. Then after we spend a few years feeling like Popeye we forget and go back to cookies. If you have to feel nervous, worry about 2024.

Casey, you don't just  give EJ a chance to help the helpless, you give the rest of us a chance to pity the pitiable. It's your purpose here and no one could do it better.

Plus, without me, those guys who pass out free Obamaphones would be out of work!  I have at least 60!

On the one hand I don't really enjoy travel or interesting food or collecting interesting experiences.

On the other hand I have no career, no hobbies, no talents or abilities... or accomplishments.

So thanks for bringing this up.  I'm gonna go cry.

I'm flummoxed. What could "morally acceptable"even mean? Is the ACA politically acceptable? Is arena football sportingly acceptable? It could mean almost anything. And so means nothing.

This is very simple economics so listen up:  If you tax something, you get less of it.  So...

"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping." To this day, especially in times of "disaster," I remember my mother's words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world."
