It's me.

I didn't think Adam Freedman was that old.

I came of age politically (no thanks to an apolitical mother and an ideologically inconsistent father) in the 90s as an old school New Deal Democrat. The worm turned after 9/11 when most of the local Dems I respected, at least on fiscal issues, spouted the blame America first nonsense that always made me feel uneasy being associated with. I found alternative voices in the conservative community and media who were hugely influential in my shift rightward.

International tournaments, like the Euro Cup, are the last vestige of patriotism left to most of the Western world. Don't tell Brussels or they'll put a stop to it pronto.

I usually have an allergic reaction to anything Yankee but that's a nice story. Thanks for sharing.

I see merit in the idea but not in the fashion Klein does (by the way not all us Klein's are "little" minded). Imagine a newly minted graduate chiding his or hers wise burned out hippy elders for the mountains of debt and oceans of unfunded entitlements his peers will be paying for.Be careful what you wish for, Ezra.

I just finished seeing it. Well worth my time and money but then again I'm a sucker for popcorn flicks, superheroes and Joss Weadon's work. That was the height of human felicity for me.

Not that I want to be in the business of defending the Not-So-Great Pacific Northwest but we do have summers up in this corner of the world. Try visiting in say, June or July and not October or November...or March...or April...or May...

Shouldn't Story 2 serve as a warning to Story 1?

Ones ideas of what's right and what's wrong (good and evil if you will) is either informed by or informs ones choice of practicing which faith. Should it come to any surprise that it also influences ones political alignment as well? That it does seems childish to me.

How is it that I move six months ago but can't escape the clutches of Jay Inslee (The Bosses doing) but you just had to wake up and make coffee to make the Great Escape? Olympia must pay for this transgression!

It's one think to ask the Cleveland Indians to do something about Chief Wahoo or the Washington Redskins (argh my PC phone wants to autocorrect that!) to change their name now that it's a pejorative. It's something else entirely if it's used out of respect or honor. Perhaps this would be a bad time to remind the Left that Richland High School's mascot is the officially the Bombers and the student body is fond of chanting "NUKE EM" during football games.

Fishing at the hatchery might be easy but prize is paltry and you deprive others of a big catch in the future.

Has Scotland produced a single person of note in say the last 200 years? Where did the inheritors of Loxke and June
