This is why there is a tea party and why Castle lost. Murphy's attitude is a common one. I don't know if you call them "elites" or what but the Republican's in charge just want to be in charge. They are willing to forgo (or do not have) the standards that make a conservative - just so their guys can have the power. What is the point if they never do anything to stop the liberal lurch in this country?
