Eh, I like all forms of potato salad, but have a marked preference for the vinegar-based variety with bacon. Or the mayonnaise-based variety with bacon. "Bacon. It's the food that makes other foods worth eating."     <<<This sounds like German potato salad, is it?  I love German potato salad.

Always watched it as a teen and loved The Next Generation.  I cried when they announced the end of the TV show, and weaned myself off over the last season.  The past few years, a little sad to think that TNG's so perfect world may be the cause of my relatives' having become progressives/communists (but they don't call it that, even though they know they are.)

I have Windows, and use Firefox browser, but today is the first day I've had problems PULLING UP Ricochet.  I feel better now that I know the folks who will fix this (and the password problem) are aware of it.  Thanks people.

I love Shine on Harvest Moon as sung by Oliver Hardy, while he and Stan Laurel danced to it in one of their movies.  Also, I've saved Rudy Vallee's version of Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries to my "political" files.  Both make me happy

Removed cash from cd's for new & improved roof and new protective paint for the house.  Turning our savings into reasonable stuff we'll need that in the future may cost too much. 

My lefty "progressive" relatives won't listen to anything from the GOP or conservatives, because "they don't care about the poor", etc.  I read David Horowitz's Go for the Hart after someone here at Ricochet pointed it out and recommended it.  (Thank you) All our GOP pols should have a copy to read and reread.

He should have been given pain meds, no surgery, and then allowed to die naturally.  Waste of money. 

Any hell Chavez is in is of his own making, as he, relieved of his human form, reviews his former life and the damage he did to others.  All of us may be reviewing our intended or unintended bad choices.  May be easier to do it now. 

It is likely that when he dies, IF after treatment in the USA, crazy evil people inside and outside the USA will claim the USA poisoned him.  If it is his time to die, let him go.  Best wishes to his countrymen.
