Luffing to Cuba: Racing with ASBO
To combat your isolation in these trying times while satisfying my unquenchable need for attention, I have published the captioned ebook on Amazon Kindle free (for the next couple of days) at this link.
If you think you have a troubled mind, wait until you see how my fevered sensorium works in my Walter Mitty/Bill Bryson-esque travelogue, blurbed as follows:
Author Michael Henry is introduced to competitive blue water sailing by his friend and sailboat captain, ASBO, in the 2019 St. Petersburg to Habana, Cuba Regatta. Cold rain, ferocious seas, and a suspected hallucinatory seasickness patch dog his maiden voyage, providing Michael Henry with actual and imaginary, but always amusing and sometimes hilarious, tales of adventure and woe aboard the SV Furlough, which finally arrives safely at Hemingway Harbor in Habana for three days in Cuba, where the author explores the local sites and people, describing them in this humorous travelogue that will make you laugh out loud.
Hope you stir crazy Ricochettis enjoy.

Thank you Micheal. I look forward to reading it.
Went ahead and grabbed it. Sounds like it’ll be a fun book to read.
Done. Thanks.
Can I still read it if I don’t have a Kindle?
I’m trying to remember how the kindle app works, but I think you can. There’s one for PC and tablets, but then you have to link the app with the Amazon website.
Kids these days make it so difficult: Link.
Whatchu doin har?
Judge Mental: This is Michael Henry, answering for Arahant. I sent him an extra-Ricochetti email about LUFFING TO CUBA. He’s still in Lent limbo, so I’m going to answer your well-articulated question for him, (“Whatchu doin har?”): “Self-banishment lifted momentarily to assist a fellow Ricochetti going through a tough time in self-isolation with his fevered brain. Arahant.”
Thank you!
Your fevered brain is named Arahant? That’s a weird coincidence.
Thanks, Michael!
Cherchez la period.

Just go to the Amazon website and use the search to find either Kindle for Mac or Kindle for PC. They are both available for free and will allow you to download and read any audio book on your computer.
I downloaded this e-book when this post was fresh because I wanted to get it while it was free. I’ve finally caught up on my reading enough that I had time to read this. Good stuff, Michael. Maybe bring along a helmet next time you go sailing.
