Support for President Trump in the Blue State of Washington

The Washington State Primary Election was held Tuesday. Most everyone knows that WA is about as deep blue as it gets. The Secretary of State, a Republican, stated that she would not be voting in the primary, since it required her to declare a party affiliation on the outside of the ballot envelope for everyone to see (gimme a break! She’s a Republican, for crying out loud!).

Ray and I voted our ballots and checked the Republican box. I voted, so President Trump could get an idea of his support out here in the People’s Republic of Washington. I just checked the final election returns, and President Trump garnered 645,000 votes. That’s about the total population of the city of Seattle.

Personally, I think it’s wonderful! I hope it convinces President Trump to give another rally here in Western Washington, and if he does, we’re going!

Oh, and I admit I was wrong — Bernie did not win the Dem primary, Biden did.

RushBabe, I like your optimism.  However, the state of Washington has about 7.5 million people. Trump’s 645 thousand votes seems small. You’re as blue as we are down here in Oregon.

My two kids live in Tacoma and Olympia.  I think they vote Democratic, though I’m not sure because politics never comes up. Perhaps all of us avoid the subject.  I’m sure they will eventually vote Republican as they grow older and wiser.

Young: “Your money should be given to poor people.”

Old: “I need my money to help support my family, especially my idiot young who think my money should be given to poor people.”

Don’t worry.  The world will know she’s a Republican after Washington State has a hanging chad controversity, and she certifies the results which gives Trump the election . . .

       Biden – 544,978

       Bernie – 515,411

Remainder of Dem votes split among the other candidates most of which went to Elizabeth Warren         (138,171), Michael Bloomberg (119,052) and Pete Buttigieg (61,989)

    Total Republican vote – 659,867

       Trump -649,192

I’m astounded that you don’t know how your kids vote. Hopefully, you’re raising Bob to be a Republican!

I was wrong, too.  I guess it’s not as bad here as we thought.  Despite that new sex ed bill and an idiot governor.

Voting for Biden is sufficiently bad.

Was Weld on the ballot?  He got 9% in New Hampshire.

I am jealous of you, the Republican Party doesn’t have an election this year in Arizona, and I feel disenfranchised, even though it is unlikely that Weld would break 9% here.

I have an idea – vote for me!

    Seriously, I’d make a great write-in candidate every Trump non-supporter can get behind . . .
