But Wait, There’s More!

You have to go looking for this kind of news. You might find it online, but won’t find it printed in the paper. If a local TV station heads out for some brief coverage, you can be certain they will heavily edit any interviews so they can maintain a sense of decorum. After all, we can’t discuss what really happens out there. Our local crime story continues:

“When I saw it on the news, I’m like, ‘If this guy’s that nuts, would he do something like that?’ And evidently, he did.”

Cooper said investigators were on his lot for several hours.

“They went through all the cars,” he said.

In a lot in far southeastern Cook County, IL, Dr. Ulrich Klopfer had eight cars in storage in an outdoor lot. Cook County authorities wanted nothing to do with it and called in the Will County Sheriff to handle the discovery of 165 additional preserved fetal remains; they had experience with this sort of thing, don’t you know. Dr. Klopfer stopped by once a year to pay the rent. He kindly stopped by just before he died to pay the fee for the next year. The Sherriff waited for the family to arrive with keys for the cars. The remains were in the trunk of a Mercedes Benz.

A doctor who was writing two millennia ago also wrote about this.

The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried; and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes, and saw Abraham far off and Laz′arus in his bosom.

And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if some one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be convinced if some one should rise from the dead.’”

Nothing to see here. Let’s talk politics! Cat videos!

I mentioned the underlying case to my neighbor a few days ago while discussing how doctors (sometimes) go bad.  She replied with something along the lines of, “Yeah right . . . where do you get your news from?  Fox?

According to the linked article, the 2200 preserved fetal remains previously found were from just three years of abortions?! I had previously assumed they represented a career’s worth of effort. But, if it’s just from 3 years, that’s three abortions a day, 5 days a week! That’s some large scale killing going on.

Does anyone happen to know what “medically preserved” means?

He had three clinics spanning the the breadth of northern Indiana–Gary, South Bend and Fort Wayne.  Gary, close to Chicago; South Bend, moments from the Michigan border; and Fort Wayne, close to NW Ohio.  His South Bend clinic opened in 1978.  An earlier South Bend Tribune article described him as

…likely Indiana’s most prolific abortion doctor in history with numbers going into the tens of thousands of procedures in multiple counties over several decades.

Some of them proudly and carefully labeled and preserved.  Those older Mercedes had really large trunks.

Strange term to use for that. Could have simply said, preserved in formalin. I’ve preserved biological specimens in bags of formalin, and it didn’t have anything to do with the practice of medicine.

Yes, yes, yes, let us keep their eyes and attention on the bright shiny object that is far away from what is important, and that we do not want to emphasize.  For the leftists, the culture is a lot like football – misdirection plays really work!

When the tapes came out of the abortion clinics, I had a friend who refused to watch any of it.  She was one of those, “I don’t like abortion, but it’s a woman’s right” types who would “never have one herself” until she thought she was possibly pregnant and told me she was looking at that as an option.  (Fortunately, thank goodness, she wasn’t pregnant.)

Anyway, she insisted that all of those tapes were doctored to make people look bad, even when the raw footage was released, so no.  She was not going to engage with propaganda.

Clearly, she simply wanted to be able to rationalize this practice, and people have incredible power when it comes to just ignoring inconvenient truths.

And on a side note, asking as a KJV person, what translation of the Bible is now using elements of pagan Greek mythology?? Hades?  The Bible says Hell.

The name Ulrich Klopfer could have been on a list of dignitaries from the Third Reich. But wait, it appears Gerhard Klopfer was! If this was my surname, I would be changing it…

“Preserved in Formalin.” For Gosnell and Klopfer, the abortionists’ version of hunting trophies?

I put this on my Twitter page with a title similar to the previous sentence.

And it isn’t just with this issue that they do this. Their ideology just does not stand up to scrutiny, but for some reason they can’t let it go so they engage in these obfuscations and denial tactics. Now that Communist China is in the news and there are pictures online of their concentration camps and people are talking about the human rights violations, the little socialists on the Left are starting to say that China is “a capitalist country now.”  Unbelievable.

What do they say when it’s pointed out that the Cultural Revolution was none too nice under Mao????

They say “Oh that wasn’t REAL Communism. It’s actually never been tried. But that’s because WE weren’t the ones doing it. THIS time we’ll do it right! Yes We Can!”  I think the denial mechanisms are the result of being programmed never to actually think. Actual thinking would produce a result the Overlords would not like.

Over on Reddit, all the little Socialists are posting meme after meme about Hong Kong, all “Save Hong Kong!” and “Freedom for Hong Kong!”  never once realizing that these people are fighting against the logical end result of the socialism they themselves espouse. They don’t even see it.

Revised Standard Version.  Here is your KJV:

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

The point I was trying to make is that thousands of cryovac-ed babies apparently aren’t going to change minds, either.

There are a lot of RSVs now. They’re editing all the poetry out of the Bible. They even changed “through a glass darkly”!  I mean don’t they realize that expression appears in literature and movies?? We’re going to lose all frame of reference. But maybe that’s the goal.

In the 90s, there was even a feminist Bible in the works. They were removing all references to “God the Father” etc. I don’t know what ever happened with that.

Abortion DOCTOR?  If two words were never intended to be put together, it HAS to be those!

You do have a point there. The Hippocratic Oath that is central to the medical profession (of which a DOCTOR is part) has for a couple of centuries said something to the effect of “do no harm.” Yet the purpose of abortion is to kill (which seems rather harmful) a body that has DNA distinct from that of the mother, and has for the most part separate organ and other life elements.

[I discovered when I looked up the Hippocratic Oath that apparently its earliest forms (at least as early as the first or second century AD) even specifically prohibited participation in abortion. So your observation that “abortion” and “doctor” should never appear together seems quite correct.]
