A Stormy Affair
Kimmy Kimmel’s big “get” for the State of the Union, porn star Stormy Daniels, has issued a statement that she denies having had an affair with Donald Trump, not because she was paid, but because it didn’t happen.
Gee, what the hell are they going to talk about now?
Well, it’s an “Official Statement.” So that’s the end of it.
But people on Ricochet and with Conservatism Inc said it happened.

Not sure. This guy I know told me about a movie in which Stormy lied to her husband about 16 affairs. I don’t think that she’s very trustworthy.

Which is a bigger scandal? Trump not having an affair with Daniels or Trump not firing Mueller? Which is the more impeachable offense?
Historical note: When I was a young man, me and few friends from the bowling alley used to drive to downtown LA to a burlesque house and watch the famous red-haired “queen of burlesque,” Tempest Storm, “dance.”
For some reason or another, the burlesque house showed Three Stooges short movies at the break. I didn’t think they were very funny. Perhaps the house showed them to cool us all down. I didn’t need cooling down, because I never thought classic burlesque was very sexy.
Neither were the “Tijuana Bibles” that were a staple of kid pornography in LA. at that time. Anyone out there old enough to remember Tijuana Bibles?
Perhaps “Stormy” Daniels took her name from Tempest Storm.

Well, ya never know. Maybe Trump had thought about having an affair with a porn star. Or maybe the porn star thought about having an affair with him.
I mean, isn’t thinking about an affair almost the same as having one? Which is probably why my husband frowns on me watching all those old Cary Grant movies.

”Classic” burlesque? One time it was just the lowest level of vaudeville. When vaudeville gave way to radio in the 1930s burlesque they added the more risqué elements.
