An Upgrade Challenge
I upgraded to the Mrs. Thatcher level today. I challenge you to upgrade today. If at least 10 members upgrade and confirm with either a comment on this post or by emailing me, I will further upgrade to the Reagan level. (An upgrade to the Reagan level would count as three upgrades.)
Part of my spiritual tradition is to tithe to where I am spiritually fed. While reading Fred Cole’s excellent post “Thankful for Ricochet” I realized that I should also give where I am politically fed. I had planned to upgrade to the Coolidge level, but upon reflection, I upgraded to the Mrs. Thatcher level.

I shall neither confirm nor deny my level, but I’ll make an alternative proposition. As the only other admitted Unity person on the site, I’ll commit to bringing you spiritual content several times per week on Ricochet, if that will help you make your decision to up your level even higher on Ricochet.
Deal! And with the statement of another person whose higher tier status was hidden, that means I have 2 out of 10. 8 more to go.

Okay, I just upgraded to Thatcher, just to irritate Gary. Even though we only agree on what day it is, anyone who comes up with this idea to support Ricochet is ok with me.
Ha. Have no clue about when my membership is up and I’m on my cell phone now so it’s not happening for me now.

I have been a Reagan member for 4 years now, because I firmly believed that Ricochet plays an important part in the political ecosystem, both as a refuge for us red dots in blue states, and as pulse for our leaders, most of whom have folks who look into this site. I would rather contribute to this private enterprise than to all of the pleas from I get from the various political campaigns. They will just squander it on worthless consultants (cough*mike murphy, rick wilson*cough)
Only recently have I revealed my membership level since I initially did not wish to seem snooty, but eventual thought it was important that others here put a face to those of us who value this community, and hopeful encourage others bump their Coolidge level to Thatcher. Plus I admit I have enjoyed a few of the events that the Reagan level have had access to in DC.
I have been lucky enough in life that I can indulge in something like Ricochet, and the enriching rewards from all of the other members I have had the pleasure to meet over the last 6 years have been worth every penny.

I’m sorry I can’t help you out, Gary. I upgraded to Thatcher a couple years ago and there’s no way I can afford the step up to the Reagan level. To echo GLDIII, I’ve been satisfied with every penny I’ve spent on Ricochet.
