Trump Signs New Travel Ban

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday temporarily blocking travel to the United States from countries deemed to pose a high terrorism risk. This new order was crafted to correct the legal concerns surrounding his previous action. CNBC outlined the differences:

The new measure… bars travel to the U.S. for 90 days from six predominantly Muslim countries — Sudan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia and Yemen, according to a Department of Homeland Security fact sheet. It excludes Iraq, which was on the original list.

The order, which takes effect March 16, does not restrict legal permanent residents, or green card holders, from re-entering the U.S., the DHS said. The first measure initially did, on a case-by-case basis. The order will allow people who had visas by Jan. 27, the date the first order was signed, or earlier to enter the U.S. It also revokes the earlier order.

…The new order halts all refugee admissions for 120 days. It does not indefinitely suspend the entry of Syrian refugees specifically, as the first measure did.

    EDs,

As I remarked about this before, anything that was wrong about this executive order could be fixed very quickly and it is only for 90 days anyway. Meanwhile, every man woman and child in this country have been suffering under the disaster of Obamacare for the last 4 years and if we don’t do something we will be suffering under this disaster for many decades to come.

People who relentlessly exaggerate Trump’s defects while ignoring the colossal horrors of the Obama Administration & Likely Clinton Administration are the people who should have their head examined. Their Trump derangement syndrome carries over to a total blindness in perceiving the monstrous faults of the other side.

My hopes of great success by the Trump Administration continue to build. I don’t think I’m being “conned”. I think the detractors are conning themselves.

    Regards,

    Jim

At this point, I’m just checking my supply of popcorn and wondering if Trump can write executive orders faster than the courts can ignore them.  Also, can you play the 1812 Overture with Ignore Cannons?
