So You Want to Be a Terrorist? Or Even if You Don’t…

I find this (It Is How We Become to Jihad) to be a powerful piece — yep, in very broken English, but the editor’s note explains — that recounts how wannaba and not-wannaba terrorists are trained (dragooned, brutalized, many murdered) by those who think the Religion of Peace is a means to collecting 35 booties in Paradise for every Jew you kill. Camp Jihad is a real hoot. I am on the board (proud to be) of Gatestone Institute, which published this yesterday. The author is Hakim Haider.

Welcome to Ricochet, Jack. I see it’s your first post. (Surprised you’re not a contributor, too.) Interesting article.

His broken English is a little hard to understand but the story is interesting.

Hey Jamie Lockett what do you mean only a member? Who would want me as even a member. Usually I am the fat smelly guy outside, looking in, face pressed up on the glass. (True: Not even the Fat Smelly Guy Club wants me as a member.) Happy to be allowed into the vestibule here. Thanks Ricochet for taking me in!

From the sound of that, you may belong in the PIT. (Just don’t tell the editors about us.)

What’s that saying about the quality of a club having me as a member?

In this case, I confess I may be letting my admiration be getting in the way of my good sense.

I think Jack might enjoy himself in the PIT. As such, I urge you not to let him know about it; all work and no play makes Jack a tireless builder of the conservative movement.

Thanks, Jack. The writer’s piece is bone-chilling. He sounds so indifferent. I would think at some point that is what a jihadist needs to do–pull back and move along. Awful.

His wife should join up though – she’s delightful and just as sharp. The power behind the throne?

Yes back to the topic at hand – this was pretty scary.

Thanks for sharing the piece and joīning us here in our beloved R.

I knew you when I worked for Jim and Maria McFadden in the early-mid-90s before I got married and had a bunch of kids. You graciously sent me NR’s children’s books about a decade ago. Welcome again.
